BACK IN THE 1970’S AND EARLY 1980’S JOSEPH AND CHERYL HOFFMAN MADE ONE OF A KIND DOLLS. I FIRST MET THEM WHEN THEY MADE PORTRAITS OF MY CHILDREN. OCCASIONALLY THEY WOULD MAKE DOLLS IN LIMITED EDITIONS. THIS PAIR OF DOLLS ARE ONLY NO 2 OF 7 THAT WERE MADE. AFTER THIS THE HERSHEY COMPANY GAVE THEM A CONTRACT AND THEY DESIGNED THE DOLLS AND A COMPANY MADE THEM. THIS PAIR HOWEVER ARE THEIRS AND THEIRS ALONE. THEY EACH ARE MARKED JOSEPH’S ORIGINALS 2/7 1982. THE DOLLS HAVE BISQUE HEAD,ARMS,AND FEET WITH CLOTH BODY. THEY MEASURE 15″ TALL. THEY STAND ON A WOODEN PLATFORM THAT HAS THE HERSHEY LOGO. THE DOLLS ARE ADORABLE. THE DOLLS LIKENESS COMES FROM AN ANTIQUE ADVERTISING.THE STORY IS THAT THE LITTLE GIRL ASKS THE BOY IF HE WANTS A KISS AND HE CLOSES HIS EYES AND PUCKERS UP. SHE IS HOLDING A HERSHEY KISS IN HER HANDS. THEY ARE VERY WELL DONE. I ESPECIALLY LIKE HER PAGEBOY HAIRDO THAT IS MOLDED PORCELAIN. THE DOLLS ARE PERFECT…THE WOODEN STAND SHOWS MINOR WEAR. A WONDERFUL ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION.

I ship United States Post Office and use which ever one of their services best fits the product.  If you have a preference, please let me know.
